Criss-Cross by Carla Alexiuk  - Quilting by the River
The inspiration for Criss-Cross came from the map of the Caribbean. Created for a cruise, I imagined the ship crisscrossing from island to island as we sail our way around on holiday. Criss-Cross features the same block in two different colour-ways, creating the illusion of the pattern criss-crossing across the quilt. With the use of the V BlockTM tool from Studio 180 Design, the elongated triangles are easier than you think, and the points are a breeze.
