Silky Leaves

These wonderful little silk quilts are fused together and raw-edged appliqued by machine.  They are surprisingly easy and fun to make.  I have used the leaves in various sized wall hangings and as a table runner, but you can easily add a leaf to other projects, such as a jacket or vest.  The silk fabrics are fun to use and add a shine that you can't get with cotton, although you can certainly use other fabrics if you wish.
