“A story provides the backbone for a cohesive collection,” according to new Aurifil Designer Jackie MacDonald. When it came time to design her latest fabric collection, Enchantment (Moda Fabrics), “[she] had been watching way too many Jane Austen movies!”. Jackie loved how Austen’s heroines found creative, unspoken ways to express themselves.

Enchantment is based on the imagined story of a young lady, her garden, and the secret meaning of the flowers she grows therein. Her debut Aurifil collection, designed to complement Enchantment’s featured hues, includes a mix of 100% cotton 50wt & 12wt thread. This set provides everything needed for both machine and hand stitching.
