Aurifil is excited to announce the launch of Thread Labs 2.0, the sophisticated successor to our inaugural educational subscription. Building upon the foundational knowledge provided in 2023, the 2024 program will offer an intriguing exploration of techniques and applications, guided by a distinguished team of educators. From July to December, participants will engage in an immersive learning experience, covering a diverse range of skills from FPP to Machine Quilting, through the practical use of various Aurifil thread weights.

Thread Labs is an essential resource for both seasoned Aurifil users and those new to our products. Each session, developed by our esteemed Aurifilosophers and Designers, includes an exclusive project that serves as both an educational tool and a source of inspiration for the featured thread weights. The subscription box delivers a meticulously selected assortment of threads, while our secure online portal provides subscribers with access to a wealth of exclusive materials, including project PDFs, interviews with educators, tutorials, special offers, and more.

The first lab, Lab 2.1, grants early access to the Aurifilosophy Cool Thread Exemplar, a compact spool storage case, and a unique thread tracking booklet. Aurifil Designer Nicholas Ball (@quiltsfromtheattic) will lead subscribers through a creative project that utilizes several thread weights included in the Thread Exemplar, while tutoring via exclusive video content to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for all proficiency levels. Subsequent labs will introduce new educators, thread assortments, and innovative techniques, fostering an environment where creativity and skill development flourish.

We have created a dedicated web portal to arm customers with all the tools needed to promote the program. There, they'll find box content details, a full list of educators and techniques, and answers to top FAQ to help guide them to program success. We'll be updating the portal over the coming weeks with new media assets and helpful program details.

How does it work?

·A six-month subscription, from LAB2.1 July through LAB2.6 December.

·A secure online portal plays host to exclusive content including downloadable project PDFs, educator interviews, thread tutorials, and more.

·Subscribers to the program will receive monthly thread boxes to distribute to their customers. Over the course of the six months, customers will receive and learn how to use all Aurifil thread weights and will also receive instruction on a variety of techniques from industry icons.

·100% of the cost is for products included in the box. The education portion of the box– along with any bonus assets– is fully complementary and exclusive to subscribers.

·Aurifil will launch and run a private FB Group for Thread Labs 2.0 hosts & subscribers to make space for collaboration, conversation, questions, and reminders.
